I’ve been an enthusiastic designer and photographer since school but my love for photography truly burgeoned after cutting my roots and moving to Australia a few years ago, settling in Manly, then the Northern Beaches area, near Sydney. Having an outsider’s view on my new home probably inspired me to start seriously capturing my surroundings with a camera.
My focus has primarily been on Australia’s landscapes, and occasionally foreign lands I’ve visited. Those landscapes vary hugely, from tiny corners of the world, through sweeping urban vistas, to sublime natural settings. I capture a fair amount of nature too, wild animals, some plants and the closer side of life with our smaller friends in macro. I am constantly experimenting with different styles, including panoramic and square formats, black-and-white, tilt shift, digital art and long exposures. I like to tinker.
I am trying to make my way as a professional photographer now, by selling prints and exhibiting my work. I will always have a lot to learn but I work hard to make images that might just bring pleasure to you, wherever you are.
If you have any favourite views or sights, particularly around Sydney, Australia, flick me an email on the contacts page and let me know where I should head. I may just add a few of your local favourites in time.
